ORDINANCE NO. 1046 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204 ONE-WAY AND TWO-WAY STOP INTER- <br />SECTIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY <br />DELETING A STOP SIGN ON GREENLEAF AVENUE AT CARMEN DRIVE AND AMENDING <br />SECTION 14.203 THREE-WAY AND FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS OF THE MUNIC- <br />IPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY PROVIDING A STOP SIGN <br />ON GREENLEAF AVENUE AND CARMEN DRIVE. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of <br />the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as <br />follows: <br />Section l: That Section 14.204 One-way and Two-way Stop Intersections be <br />and the same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following: <br />A. B. <br />STOP STREETS LOCATION <br />Greenleaf Avenue at Carmen Drive <br />Section 2: That Paragraph C of Section 14.203 Three-way and Four-way <br />Stop Intersections, which requires traffic to stop before entering in or across <br />the intersections therein named, be amended by adding thereto the following: <br />26. Greenleaf Avenue and Carmen Drive <br />Section 3: That the Chief of Police or any person designated by him or <br />by the President and Board of Trustees shall post or cause to be posted appro- <br />priate stop signs according to the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation violating any provision <br />of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $5.00, nor more than $200.00 <br />for each offense. <br />Section 5: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage, approval and publication, according to law. <br />ATTEST: <br />PASSED this <br />13th <br />day <br />of April , <br />1976. <br />APPROVED this <br />13th <br />day <br />of April , <br />1976. <br />VOTE: AYES: <br />6 <br />NAYS: <br />0 ABSENT: <br />0 <br />I <br />Eleanor G.
