RESOLUTION N0,&10-7.21 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO PETITION <br /> e <br /> FOR REZONING NO. 2377 TO THE BOARD OF <br /> SUPERVISORS, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the President and <br /> Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village that there <br /> is a proposed map amendment to DuPage County Zoning Ordinance, <br /> f <br /> rezoning from R-2, single family residence, to M-1, Manufacturing <br /> District, and a variation in regulations along District boundaries <br /> on the property hereinafter described: <br /> Parcel 1: The South 427 .4 feet of Lot 1 in Devon <br /> 5 Acre Farms, being a subdivision in <br /> Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 11, <br /> East of the* TPM, according to the Plat <br /> t1treof, recorded June 10, 1947, as <br /> Document 4522.698, and certificate of <br /> correction recorded August 13, 1947 as <br /> Document x$526985, in DuPage County, Ill. , <br /> and also the rezoning from R-2, single family residence district <br /> to M-1, Manufacturing District:, on the property hereinafter <br /> described: <br /> Parcel 2: Parcels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Kapolzinske ' s <br /> Assessment: Plat in the North Half of Section 2 , <br /> Township 40 N. Range 11 East of the Third <br /> Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois ; <br /> Also, Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 <br /> 14, 15- anc. 16 in Devon 5 Acres Farms in the <br /> North Half' of Section 2, Township 40 North, <br /> Range 11., East or the Third Principal Meridian <br /> in DuPage County, Illinois, and also: the <br /> East 120 feet of the North 413 feet of the <br /> west 1/4 cf the northeast 1/4 of Section 2 , <br /> Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the <br /> 3rd P.M., DuPage County, Illinois, <br /> said property being situated on the south side of Devon Avenue, on <br /> both sides of Ellis Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, the DuPage County Zoning Board of Appeals held a <br /> public meeting according to law and recommended that such rezoning <br /> not be granted; and <br />
